Renew an Active License

*NEW RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PTs AND PTAs* 

Individuals who renew their license on or after 1/01/2019 will need to comply with the new fingerprinting requirement if they have not previously submitted fingerprints for initial issuance of a TX license or for a prior TX license renewal or restoration.

 

To avoid a delay in  the renewal of your license, complete the fingerprinting process several weeks prior to your license expiration date or the date you intend to renew.

DO NOT CONTINUE UNLESS YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE TX JAM

PTs and PTAs renewing their license MUST take the PT Board's new Texas Jurisprudence Assessment Module (TX JAM) PRIOR to beginning the renewal processThe TX JAM will replace both the previous Jurisprudence (JP) Exam and the ethics/professional responsibility renewal requirement. For more information, click here.

 

Log in to complete the CC Activity Report once you have taken the TX JAM, then proceed to the payment portion of the renewal process

  • You must have a course/activity approval number OR the Accredited Provider number to complete the CC Activity Report.  Contact the course sponsor of if you do not have a approval number; TPTA cannot provide that information.  
  • You will also need your school code to complete the renewal.   Can't find your code?

 

Log in to pay if you already have your keycode.

 

To submit a renewal by mail, complete the License Renewal form.
